"Just be who you are, calm and clear and bright." - Richard Bach, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah

Sweeter than the face of Ishtar

Last Christmas my sister and I were going through more of our grandparents’ stuff, and we found this poster I’d made in high school—most likely for English class given that it’s a paean to Sylvia Plath.

I looked at this drawing for the first time in…what, fourteen years?…and thought, “Gosh, that’s beautiful.” (How could I have forgotten what a gorgeous poet she was?) Kate thinks I should frame it.

I also love that I’m still using the same set of Prismacolors!

Hi! I'm Camille. I only write stories that could never ever happen in real life, though I do believe in real-life magic. If we were in the same room I'd fix you a cup of tea, but for now we'll have to settle for a virtual connection. I'm really glad you're here.
