"Just be who you are, calm and clear and bright." - Richard Bach, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah

✏️  Do you want to make peace with where you’re at in your creative career without giving up on your ambition?
✏️  Do you wish you had a warm and objective presence in your corner to counterweight the people in your life who worry that your writing dreams are impractical or self indulgent?
✏️  Would you love some kind-yet-candid guidance toward the fullest, most vibrant expression of your creativity?

If the words creative flow, self-enhancing cycle, satisfaction over “success,” or ego management give you that intuitive ping!, we may be a good fit.

I don’t have all the answers—I’d never claim to!—but I can assist you in asking better questions in order to clarify your own fundamental needs and desires. No matter your history and whatever your frustration, I believe that you are the solution—and I can offer tools that will help you to live by that solution each and every day.

(On the other hand, if you’re looking for straight-up advice on preparing your manuscript for submission, or you don’t believe in a connection between creative output and personal growth, or you’re allergic to “woo,” let me save you time by telling you I’m not the right coach for you.)

I’m a working writer with a variety of professional and personal commitments, so in lieu of a “discovery call,” I encourage you to send in a question I can answer for you on my YouTube channel—this way everyone benefits! You can also dip into my Learn With Me archive and free resource library (subscribe to my mailing list for the password), read Life Without Envy and A Bright Clean Mind, and check out my online courses.

Investment: $100 per 60-minute session.

Special rate of $75 for Comet Party Summer School students. Coaching packages and manuscript critiques are available for established clients.

How to Work With Me (if You Can’t Afford to Work With Me)

After working in the publishing industry for several years, I found myself in a writing rut in 2020, trapped in a product-focused, wordcount-obsessed slog. Camille’s gentle, patient adjustments to the way I think and speak about my work (“slog” has set off her coach’s whistle more than once!) have helped me reconceptualize the writing process more mindfully as one of patience and perseverance rather than rigorously self-imposed discipline. She’s provided me with fundamental tools for conceptualizing and planning, which help anchor my artistic practice as I navigate the daily highs and lows of writerly enthusiasm and self-doubt. Still, she encourages me to use these resources in order to further explore the depths of my own imagination beyond where she might follow, reporting back for guidance and talking through obstacles together. It has been so essentially refreshing to work with a professional whose designated focus as a “coach” is on bolstering and furthering my artistic development as well as my current project, rather than the vanity of literary mentorship.

Hanna Masaryk

Hi! I'm Camille. I only write stories that could never ever happen in real life, though I do believe in real-life magic. If we were in the same room I'd fix you a cup of tea, but for now we'll have to settle for a virtual connection. I'm really glad you're here.
