"Just be who you are, calm and clear and bright." - Richard Bach, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah

Moon Ireland, second edition (2017)

Available now from Avalon Travel (third edition coming May 2020)

The revised edition of Moon Ireland was researched in early 2016 and published in May 2017. This guidebook is the product of seventeen years’ worth of exploration, from my first-ever trip to co-write a shoestring guide called Hanging Out in Ireland, to visiting my grandmother’s cousins in County Cavan, to grad school in Galway City and wandering all over the island in a series of (mostly reliable) rental cars. Suitable for backpackers, honeymooners, and everyone in between, you’ll like this guide if you appreciate candid reviews (I love finding special out-of-the-way places, and I will absolutely tell you when I don’t think something is worth your time!) Here’s hoping my love of Ireland shines through on every page.

Hi! I'm Camille. I only write stories that could never ever happen in real life, though I do believe in real-life magic. If we were in the same room I'd fix you a cup of tea, but for now we'll have to settle for a virtual connection. I'm really glad you're here.
